CMP Shafiq Izzat holds a Bachelor of Chinese Medicine (Honours) from UTAR and is a registered TCM practitioner under the Malaysian Ministry of Health. He trained clinically at Tung Shin Hospital, Kuala Lumpur and UTAR T&CM Centre, Kampar, with additional specialization in Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Tuina, TCM Cosmetology, and Spinal Manipulation.
He is a member of the Malaysian Chinese Medical Association (MCMA) and the World Acupuncture & Moxibustion Federation, and serves as Secretary General of the Malaysian Acupotomy Association.
