Mr. Edmund Yiew

Experienced in handling and treating Stroke, SCI (spinal cord injury),and Musculoskeletal patient since 2010.Skilful with NMES & FES Footdrop system method to treat Stroke patient with abnormal gait pattern. Practising as Physiotherapist in Ara Damansara Medical Centre from year 2010 –2016 and continue as private practice physiotherapist, to serve more homebased stroke patients at 2017 –2019.

• Undergone a training-Free Bionic at Taiwan for handling FreeWalk exoskeleton in year 2020.
• He was the founder of Magic Walk Physiotherapy and Rehab centre since 2021, helped more patients with exoskeleton approach and FES system.

Mr. Edmund Yiew is active in demonstrating & as a Certified Trainer for FreeWalk Exoskeleton and XFT FES footdrop system for Malaysia and Indonesia patients through event, exhibition and treatment in Magic Walk Physiotherapy Centre.

He collaborated with UM and UMMC, Prof Dr Azahand Dr Hamizan for research of FREE Walk Exoskeleton and  presented the outcome of the result during the 13th Annual Malaysian Rehabilitation Medicine Conference 2022 event at Kota Bahru, Kelantan.
